Google keeps removing my "Donald Trump leaves office" event on January 21 2029. I find this very annoying. I've recreated the event like 20 times over the last year and a half.

A photo of a television paused on a scene from TWIN PEAKS where the giant’s head is just out of frame and a cat has popped its head up from behind so it looks like its head is on the giant’s body.

IT IS HAPPENING, AGAIN.

Not sure why my skeet from 2 months ago about Popehat being friends with Jesse Singal is getting likes today but it's a good reminder that Popehat is a transphobe who supports other transphobes.

Permissive” isn’t a word you would use to describe Democrats over the past few years. The party has suffered from a perception that it has become intolerant of different perspectives and preoccupied with identity politics and language policing. Litmus tests aren’t just applied to gun policy, but to policies on LGBT rights, immigration enforcement, policing, and other matters.

But losing power has a way of shaking up party canon. And there are some signs that Democrats are ready to move past this era of ideological purity and rigidity.

The woman who wrote today's Bulwark slop about protesters is, tell me if you've heard this one before, a proponent of a "big tent" Democratic Party that is paradoxically not big enough for anyone who care about LGBTQ people or immigrants.

weird juxtaposition where people in power and influence are saying absolutely heinous, deadly things without any restraint of conscience, and everyone reacting to it is having to bite their tongue and speak in euphemisms not to get banned or arrested or whatever

Don't taco Tuesday this shit. Millions of people spent the day wondering if they would get vaporized, and no one in our government stood up to him. Nothing cutesy about it.

Jeff Storobinsky on Twitter: "Prior to the 800 pm deadline tonight Trump will falsely claim that Iran has agreed to something that they have not. He will then say we're extending the deadline by 2 weeks

Iran will then issue a statement claiming they have agreed to nothing

It has become quite obvious that there will be no resolution in 2 weeks or even two months

Fuel prices will continue to rise fueling inflation"

Seems like a fairly reasonable prediction.

We could replace Chuck Schumer with an LLM and I'm not sure anyone would notice.

Do not stop organizing against trumps imperialist aggression. This won’t be the last threat and he won’t be the last president that makes these threats. Let today ignite in you the desire to get involved in anti imperialism. We need the power to stop this

Impeachment is not a strong enough remedy anymore. The entire lot of them need to be in prison. Miller, Rubio, Vance, Hegseth, Johnson, all of them.

I think it's bad for the President to threaten to annihilate an entire culture and i do not think you are being alarmist if you take his threats seriously and literally.
