#OnePieceJourney Just finished the fan letter, and I’m down to the last 30 or so episodes before I’m all caught up. What a beautiful episode. Almost helps me forget that Garp, Kid, Law…are probably now gone. I won’t be ready for the episode on the 28th but I’ll for sure be caught up by April.

#OnePieceJourney #OnePiece 1015. Naw I’m in awe. I’d seen this moment with the red and blue overtones maybe two years ago in some edit. The whole episode. It’s beautiful. I had to rewatch so many moments it ended up taking the better part of an hour. 10/10 episode right there. Kick his ass Luffy.

Oh I was totally wrong. Episode 1000 was awesome. The special green star? Commander franky, the robot pirate. The framing to show each crew members journey and defining moments? Art. I know I’ve still got a 100 odd to go but damn. Thank you Oda for such a great story!!

This is one of the milestones. This is big for me. I’m sure that episode 1000 won’t be as crazy in the show itself, but it’s still 1000 episodes. I’m on 999. I’m glad I made these posts a year back. #OnePieceJourney 968. So that’s why it’s called Laughtale. God damn, Oden is such a cool character. Not gonna lie, was a little annoyed at first I’m watching effectively a season of a flashback but it only gets better. Like Oden and Roger hearing the sea kings? The call backs are awesome!

#OnePieceJourney 950 down. Less than 200 to catch up. I’d talk about the whole ryou upgrade and the cool Kami but everything went out the window for me when momo took the stage. What a great speech, what a valid fear. The framing of him mentally running off too and turning to face his people? Great.

It’s wild to think that the amount of episodes I have left are nearly the same amount I watched in 4:3. I’m on track to finish by the end of the year.

#OnePieceJourney Silksong took a lot out of me, I’m going into 939. There’s a lot going on but looks like people are getting back together again. I like how Luffy uses the jail time to practice haki. Zoro lost his sword. Tonoyasa is in trouble and what’s up with the girl being only able to smile?

#OnePieceJourney I just got the payoff from 909. I’m. I’m so lost. How? Is that a devil fruit power? Is that such a thing?! That means momo wasn’t messing with us! Does this mean I get to see Roger again? Do I get to see Roger do adventures for a bit? I’m hype. Oden n Roger are gonna be hype.

GRAVES!? Of our fellas!? What’s goin on. Why are there clearly very old gravestones of our samurai buddies. Momo? Kinemon? Hello?

#OnePieceJourney 839. Goin into 840, this feels weird. I love the outfit change, the alliance with Bege. Only for everything to crumble with the loss of those rockets. The mirror shattering. I pray I get a good fight between mochi guy and Luffy. Side note, Did Linlin eat Mother Caramel?!

#OnePieceJourney 823 finished. Lot of stuff happening at play. Lot of stuff since 794 as well. Sanji leaving thinking he struck a deal. Pudding betraying everyone’s trust. Brook against big mom? So fitting being the king of soul. And of course, glad to see you along for the ride Jimbei.

#OnePieceJourney #OnePiece 794 done. Wild this far, glad to see Jimbei again but did he spin the wheel? That’s messed up what they did to Sanji, the explosive cuffs on his wrists? Also his whole childhood is jacked. Wild how foreshadowed ahead of time his family was or at least his origins.

#OnePieceJourney 773 is done. A few things stick out since starting Zou. Love the minks, big fan again of Oda killing it with foreshadowing. Speaking of, is Momo messing with us? He didn’t meet Roger right? And Luffy can hear Zou. Is that similar to the sea monsters before? What’s happening on Zou?!

A bit spooky. Def like power dynamics.

As a quick aside for myself, I did pretty well. I didn’t rush, got through over 500 episodes in a year. Today thou new episodes are back. Let’s see how long from now until I catch up.
