it’s not about the app itself but the fact that the government can ban tiktok and that the bill it was passed through doesn’t specify only tiktok. it could be anything the american government deems “unsafe” or whatever. they want control and they want money. it’s so bad.

vine being gone is not the same as tiktok being gone imma be fr. vine, people weren’t on it as much and they just lost money and had to close. tiktok is being BANNED and we have no choice in the matter about that. its a very popular app still and people’s livelihoods are being taken away. 1/??
