I've started a course for a qualification (it's a v small v short one don't worry, less than half a day) but the first video was an AI lady talking and it was SO off-putting

It made me feel like I was watching those videos where people slow celebrities blinking down and accuse them of being lizards

So I am housebound a lot of the time due to my disabilities. My health is getting no better without exercise so I've started doing rajio taiso (Japanese radio calisthenics) and I've just added in 100 jumps a day, to start easing back into active movement

I honestly love a lot of things about working in QA. But, QA is often invisible, the way our work is recognised is... if everyone else's work is unhindered.

But! If there ARE bugs? Then QA are definitely to blame and not the higher ups who had to time manage what to fix and what to leave!

Once upon a time in QA land, I spent a lot of my own non-work time writing batch files for grabbing multiple players logs and zipping them together to save time bugging issues.

I didn't get a single thank you or recognition for that and I've just realised I'm still salty about it. Interesting!
