Thanks Kim! I'll send you art when I've got it all together -- I'm working pretty piecemeal and the last few weeks have been the worst of my life, but Monday it'll be ready to look at!

I'm a few days from handing the first issue in and I can honestly say this is the best work I've ever done. Grif & Ethan have given me everything I could want to draw in this, so hopefully you'll all let you comic shops know you want it and make this thing as huge a success as it is a dream for me!

I heard he lobbied hard for it, so I'm hoping that has some influence on it. I get why people don't like him. I'm neither here nor there -- he's turned in some great performances and honestly, I've seen worse, and He-Man's had worse.

Whatever happens, I'm always incredibly gratefuly to have worked on an Aliens comic at Dark Horse. Aliens: Labyrinth was the first comic I had on a standing order and it was 100% Dark Horse that got me collecting comics and made me want to make them. Mirage opened the door, Dark Horse locked me in.

Been awhile bit, but... @cjward.bsky.social, @tristansbones.bsky.social, & @pipmartin.bsky.social has our crew helpless in this "chaos realm". Truly a nightmare in the flesh.

Look I’m no licensing expert but I would imagine it would be easier and probably fiscally more beneficial to have someone else do all the work, and you collect money from that but I dunno. Marvel has made some odd licensing decisions in the past, especially when their characters are really for kids

Paramount beat Netflix to buy Warner Bros.

Warner Bros owns DC. Paramount now owns DC. Paramount owns a lot of properties licensed to other publishers. Makes sense to consolidate when you now own a comic publisher. Hoping I'm wrong though.

I've got a feeling in my guts that TMNT will end up at DC comics, and I don't really know how I feel about it... Not that I don't like DC (love them, great folks there all around), but that idea just feels... strange? Probably just longing for a return to the Mirage stuff, and it feels further away.
