AI technology has played a central role in Israel’s assault on innocent civilians in Lebanon, Iran, Gaza.
Israel is one of the world’s leading hubs for AI development. In 2024, there were over 2,300 AI startups active in Israel. Since then, that number has only risen as VCs pour billions into AI
AI is being used to improve target tracking and kill rates of anyone Israel deems to be enemy combatants. Israeli company Smart Shooter has developed an AI-powered “smart” weapon sight that can be installed on any basic gun to transform it into a far more deadly AI precision-guided firearm.
The Israeli army is using AI systems to mark tens of thousands of Palestinians as potential targets for assassination. But the AI targeting systems have almost no human oversight and seem to be extremely permissive when it comes to casualties, regularly slaughtering entire families.

Told @cnn that Trump's focus on appearing as the winner is starting to become a threat to the negotiations. Instead of de-escalating the situation, Trump has not been able to resist mocking Iran and portraying Iranian restraint as a sign of weakness. This is self-sabotage.
