And I *liked* that. It failed but it was still good in my opinion.

Honestly I think Capcom’s been on a hot streak since around 2019. Very few complete duds compared to practically every other big publisher.
Been enjoying Pragmata a lot. Gameplay’s a fun throwback to the seventh-gen era of “shooter with a gimmick” and the character work is wonderful. I love the little robot girl, she’s adorable.
Bang on the money. It’s honestly amazing to think he’s never made anything because he wanted to make it. The whole part about the writers’ room really laid it bare - he generates “content” from prompts.
He might be the only human creator that AI could *actually* fully replicate.
I think that last part’s the rub. You might want *one*.
There’s an ideal state between having no business plan and having a nest of executive vipers controlling everything. Sadly, most cases are one or the other.
I like the Foldsman a lot and this one’s a really good watch.
Oh yeah, half the fun is watching the game take your childish bullshit and transcend it.
Unlike the 3DS one, not a single word is censored. I’ve got them all swearing up a treat.
Jonathan and Phoenix became friends via a mutual love of Steph’s tits.
This game is a 1:1 recreation of real life.
Tomodachi Life is out. I’ve got an afternoon of making Miis talk about cum chuggin’ ahead of me!
They can say *anything*, far more than the 3DS one let you get away with. Honestly, the inability to share via their system is a small price to pay to give an avatar of myself "Cum Chugger" as a catchphrase.
Because you can do the kind of things I do with it and make the characters constantly talk about cum.
Aw man, I forgot DJ Qualls was in it. Lovely stuff.
I’ve decided a good thing to do is rewatch Z Nation aka The Asylum’s Most Tolerable Thing.
I genuinely enjoyed this series when I watched it years ago. It was perfectly stupid, and Murphy the not-zombie was a really fun character.
Very much so. It’s been interesting to compare B4B to L4D alongside comparing Toxic Commando to World War Z.
Both spiritual successors fall into many of the exact same traps, not quite “getting” what worked about their predecessors.
Very much agree, and I touch on this in the script too. Pure “play to play” games were increasingly rare even in L4D’s day and it’s almost certainly too standardized to walk back now.
I can’t claim to be above the need for a progression system either. I’m totally rewired along with everyone else.
It’s a… curious game. I felt it mostly suffered from a lack of strong identity despite trying so hard to have one.
Going back to it was weird as hell though. They stuffed so much into the game, and added more over time, that it’s become borderline exclusive to those who never stopped playing.
Playing Back 4 Blood again really illustrated how careful co-op/multiplayer games have to be about how many features they offer a player.
Returning to it was *confusing* - so many systems, so much loot, loads of overwhelming distractions. It’s such a far cry from Left 4 Dead’s straightforwardness.
Been writing a new video script. At long last, it’s a nice game design essay rather than something depressing.
I’ve had Horde Shooters on the brain and wanted to really dig into why the good ones are so good. I also discovered people are still playing Back 4 Blood. Returning to that was a trip.
Obviously conservative Christians aren’t really Christian either, which is even funnier. To go too far for *them* is possibly Trump’s only real historical achievement.
Dining on conservative Christians figuring out Trump might not be a Christian after ten years of Trump doing not-Christian things.

💛 I'm so proud of that one and it meant a ton to me that other disabled people felt seen and heard by it. A very important and personal video to me.
You’re not wrong.
Yup. I’ve never heard them actually say a word themselves. Does make me think the kid’s screaming for some human bloody interaction.
That’s something I’ve considered. As someone who’s routinely had screaming kids around her, I couldn’t imagine wanting to inflict it on anybody.
“Lez off” is more common round my neck of the woods, but whether lezzing off, lezzing out, or lezzing around, I can’t fault your point.
It happens with other ear-piercing noise too, and while it could be chalked up to trolling, it never sounds deliberate enough & it’s SO common with kid screams.
If an online gamer has some terrible, sensorially overloading noise going on, the world apparently needs to hear it.
There needs to be a study to find out what the fuck is up with online players who unmute their microphones when they’ve got a screaming kid in the background. It’s such a common phenomenon that I need a full investigation.
