Almost always have had earphones with music which helps dim the noise as well. Good luck!!

A lot of hospitals have moved to the newer "Open MRI" machines or at least have one in the mix. Ask about it. Not as claustrophobic but also just generally speedier in my experience. You can also ask for something for nerves if you want/need. (I've had ativan to help before).

Hope the MRI goes well (and isn't one that takes a long time to do, hate the noise of those damn things)

My mom (almost 70) just got tdap and mmr vaccines. Tdap because she couldn't remember the last time she had one and mmr because she had the mumps as a kid but was unsure of the measles and the immune system amnesia aspect of it is scary af.

Peanut butter miso cookies with maple soy peanut brittle V1.0 are a success.

They're savory sweet with a little saltiness thrown in alongside the caramely flavor from the brittle.

Think I'll invert the peanut butter to miso ratio next time and make them smaller instead of 18, 3" cookies.
