If Bilbo had Chat GPT

Lol I did this to myself from 2015-2017. What I learned is that all these podcasts are just different variations on a couple genres. To name a few:

- IAmVerySmart PseudoPhilosopher (extra points if British)
- Shock jock that says slurs
- Failed Screenwriter
- Guy who hates his wife, also himself

Why one small American town won’t stop stoning its residents to death - Charlotte_Stant - The Lottery - Shirley Jackson [Archive of Our Own] An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works

“Why one small American town won’t stop stoning its residents to death,” an AO3 fic in which Isaac Chotiner interviews the guy who runs the lottery in Shirley Jackson’s “The Lottery”, is astounding. archiveofourown.org/works/73396436

Let me break this down for you.Duck eggs instead of chicken eggs? That's actually fine. Duck eggs work in eggnog. That's not your problem.
Goose fat instead of milk? Goose fat is a solid cooking fat for roasting potatoes. Milk is a liquid dairy product. They are not interchangeable You essentially made hot melted goose fat with duck eggs. Of course it was terrible.
Bottom line: If you fundamentally change the structure of a recipe by using completely different ingredients with entirely different properties, you're not making eggnog. You're conducting a failed science experiment. Make it again with actual dairy and report back.

In a first, a gene therapy seems to slow Huntington disease Small study suggests uniQure drug could be first successful treatment for devastating brain disorder

My grandfather and much of his family suffered from Huntington's disease. Though obviously this is by no means a "cure", it is great news! Honestly the only good news I can remember for a long time - I hope to hear more about this therapy in the future!

People that eat crunchy foods and make loud smacking sounds as they eat in inappropriate public places like lecture halls are just built different.

I keep putting off important but involved house work until "things slow down" or I "have more energy." I'm never wet mopping the floors again, am I?

In this moment, I find myself stuck between the urge to purge all my belongings down to the essentials for the mental clarity and ease of minimalism and the need to hold tightly to material things that bring me joy in the face of great fear and uncertainty.

There has to be a German word for this?

I'm 18. The economy enters a once-in-a-century recession. A Republican president is responsible.

I'm 29. There is once-in-a-century pandemic that leads to a once-in-century-recession. A Republican is responsible.

I'm 35. Tarriffs trigger a once-in-a-century recession. A Republican is responsible.

Did the butter tarts have raisins? (I am strongly anti-raisin, except in cry babies, another classic from my childhood summers in Canada)

In my experience, nothing can beat a butter tart made by a grandma with an old-timey name - store bought often come out weirdly eggy instead of silky!
