I wrote a villanelle for "In Her Arms", a sapphic romantasy zine! The first few stanzas are tragic—but even in the wake of tragedy, sapphic romantic love can find a way!

#ArtAdventCalendar Day 5: a black and white clover! I made a little MATLAB code that takes the grayscale value of each pixel of an image, compares that value to some threshold, and turns the pixel black if it's below, and white if it's at or above. This clover image had a threshold of 150!

Various skeins of yarn with the colors of various pride flags, including the rainbow pride flag with brown and black (from before the trans colors were explicitly included), as well as the pride flags for lesbian, bi, trans, nonbinary, intersex, pan, asexual, aromantic, queer, genderqueer, agender, and the edges of a couple skeins that are shades of brown. From afar, the skeins look like blurry blobs of color; only up close do the thin lines that define them as yarn skeins become apparent.

#ArtAdventCalendar Day 3: Old art for an old concept for a podcast called "Into the Quiltbag", wherein my queer friends and my queer me chat about a variety of things, including the ways in which our queerness doesn't match up with anyone's idea of queer. I still hope we can do the podcast someday!
