Western red colobus monkeys (Piliocolobus badius) are native to West Africa. Primarily arboreal, they run, leap, and swing through all levels of the rainforest, rarely descending to the ground. Threatened by hunting and habitat loss, populations are fragmented and decreasing. Listed as Endangered.
