What I know about gouache and watercolour is what I learned putzing about informally in high school and college.

It's been illuminating and fun to slowly work through some Udemy intros to the mediums and let myself just be new and bad at things.

It's been a hot minute since I've worked with watercolour. I've been poking both online classes and watching process videos.

Recently learned there's a compound that makes a surface more receptive to watercolour, that can also serve as a white highlight (if it's tinted) to use in place of gel pens.
