Okay update!! On ile-aworan.square.site you can now either order a 2026 Planetary Hours calendar from me for $3 OR sign up to get the free .txt file of my script so you can edit and make it your own

I would love to help folks use this method and modify how they think of time 💘

Half off til I'm out of stock and then I'll take pre-orders for my reprint ✨
Anyone who has ordered already and wants more, hmu and I'll make a special discount code for you! 😌

I think this is my official (pre-)birthday post ☀️ hoping to share more tools and designs and resources in the year to come, and onward~

I wanted to make a free resource that might be useful for folks in scheduling prayers and operations and other daily activities, since I didn't see any other way to get it on my calendar but this. super easy to toggle on/off

I've already used it to time when I'm making a lunar remedy later today 🌕

Prayer Webcal | New York, NY, USA Prayer Timings Prayer Webcal | Subscribe to your Personal World Prayer Times Calendar

I'm trying to create something like this islamic prayer time site prayerwebcal.dsultan.com that not only calculates things for you in your location, BUT allows you to edit the settings then generates a calendar that's easy to just add to your google calendar or apple calendar.

Yesterday I finished a script that calculates planetary hours and adds them to a google cal ✨

google apps scripts only allows for 6 minutes of execution time, so I'm going to spend some time translating the code to spit out an .ics link that can be added to any calendar 🤔

I’m ecstatic over my lil pocket raml journal, and the craftsmanship that went into creating these. 🌟 The perfect size to throw in your bag for practicing on the go. 📌 Designed by @olabimpe.bsky.social

anyone have journal layout opinions for me?!

I'm planning on getting a sample of an A4 notebook (8.3 in x 11.7 in) and an A5 (5.8 in x 8.3") and looking for anyone's strong feelings/opinions to help me decide on the final design factors.

I have my opinions but I don't want them to be for only me!

If no 1 care about post-it's I'll just order a quantity for myself but!!! It was an exciting idea for me, especially the astro charts

Also OMG relatedly - who would be into post-it notes with blank astrology charts and raml charts?

When I do my dream and omen journaling (digitally, for now), I like to screenshot the chart of the moment and take a pic of any geomancy I do BUT if I want see if I can do it in a proper journal

in different manuscripts, I've seen them draw the shield where the seal is off to the side (which I prefer, as apparently we're not even meant to pull it every time), but I can see the case for this other style, or some mix

so! just looking for opinions from whoever has them ✨

- another thing I'm thinking of doing (on @cielosueloastro.bsky.social 's suggestion ty!!) is using the 'ilm shield in one of the layouts -- wondering what people think of this, if it's worth it to have one of the journals printed with this style or even to use it as the default

5 months ago 0 0 1 0

- would you prefer for the fact sheets/process guidelines to be at the front of the journals or at the back?

I've been doing front because a lot of us are new to the practice & may reference things a lot, but I also can totally see getting to the point where it's an afterthought & best at the back

Other design notes//questions
- I'm going with softcover brown faux leather for the a5 and potentially brown flexi-cover for the A4 just to see if it's cute
- does anyone actually use the pockets at the back of journals??? I like them a lot but I also rarely use them!

I also think it's nice to have an option for folks who don't want to buy as many journals (or don't take as many notes) and therefore want every single page to be usable for a new cast

It's also possible I can do 2 separate a4 samples if I really still can't decide 🤔

Post image

I think I'll do the standard a5 layout for the samples as I have been using for myself, but I wonder with the a4 which one I should prioritize

I like ali's suggestion a lot, and it's probably most relevant to the practice as we all get more advanced

BUT--

- one that is a compact design, where you can cast just to the right of the shield, and take notes on the bottom half of the page. this allows each page to be used for a separate cast, and if you need to add more shields to it, you can do it in the notes section.

Then! for the A4 size, since there's more room to play around, I've been toying with the following 3 layouts
- one that looks exactly like the A5 layout
- one with 2 shields pp instead of one (based on a suggestion by Ali, maybe related to technique on an upcoming translation?? 👀)
and...

He suggested a note page on the left, though I did mine on the right just because my mind is still in left to right mode in general - anyone have super strong opinions on which they would like as a default?

Post image Post image

I have one layout that I've done for the A5 size (pictured here alone and alongside the A4 for reference)

I've done this for myself with no page for notes and then another with a page for notes. I prefer having a note page and I think Ali suggested it during one of the livestreams
