We find similar effects in my lab, but our headline is a bit more nuanced: "Mothers tend to be consistently excellent, and when dad is involved it's great for kids and when he's not it's worse."
My department chair referred to tomorrow's holiday as Farmworker's Day, and I like that change a whole bushel of grapes.
With others I have published about ethnically diverse and transnational families. But I'm a White guy. If I'm going to continue to support research on these families, authors should be able to know who is evaluating their work.

I wrote the speech I *wish* Chuck Schumer would give tonight - as an actual opposition leader. Here it is:
"My fellow Americans: At this hour, an unrestrained force of militarized and violent federal officers is carrying out a project of ethnic cleansing in the streets of American cities."

On Dec 4, 1965, the Grateful Dead performed at the Merry Prankster's San Jose acid test. It wasn't a great show given everyone's state of mind, but all of the elements we love are there! Never forget that "you are the eyes of the world"
