Upgrading to Windows 11...
Game feels like TDM only. The sniper glint and auro spotting are insane. The only map with planes and heli felt like they were inconsequential. In previous games a skilled pilot was deadly, forcing tactics to change, instead of sky filler. Classes feel pointless with open weapons. Netflix menu
If you are from the EU, and love games, consider signing the stopkillinggames.com petition. Software shouldn't have an expiration date or digital lock rendering it unusable!
The EU site for energy labels for phones and tables is now online.

Below is the label for the Google Pixel 9 Pro. QR code leads to the device page, which has additional information.
Picture of a tuya smart uk power plug. Short white cylinder with a power button on the side.
I have over a dozen tuya smart plugs, which have energy monitoring, over zigbee into Home Assistant with ZHA. I use them to get detailed per device usage on the HA dashboard.
Had a couple dropout from the Zigbee net, which required replugging them. They don't remember the child lock after that.
But but but it bends light like a real prism
Does it crash if you download a file with emoji in the name? Or attachment from an email?
Asking for a friend
And people wonder why programmers are grumpy all the time.
Surprised there was no section on commercial flight tickets.

Another win for the EU
My micro PC proxmox cluster could use something like this. However it costs as much as the cluster itself. For now I will have to do with PXE, WoL, and ssh. 🫠
PiKVM now offers a switch that can be connected to PiKVM to expand to 4 PCs. The switch can also be chain linked 5 times for a total of 20 PCs. That is just awesome!!
What a bunch of nonsense
Very cool timepiece. I really like that you just power it on and it figures out the time zone from the GPS position, and thus the time. I wonder what time it will show at the poles? 🤔

Turns out by calling an O2 number you get the recipient cell tower id in the SIP headers, and thus where they are located. 🤯
Fixing bugs doesn't generate revenue. They want to capture the devs market with AI features and sell subscriptions. Optimize the money extraction from companies.
This will suck for entry level devs.
That is an intentional choice. Regular TOTP allows you to have multiple authenticators that cannot be controlled. Making account recovery trickier.
The other reason, which seems more likely to me, is that it drives user adoption of the Steam app. Thus driving more sales.
In reality a mix of both.
Nothing burger
Steam confirms the recent data breach news is a nothing burger.
Accounts are safe, no account information was leaked. It is just a list of mobile numbers that have received a one-time 15 min code. There is nothing else in the SMS besides the code. Practically useless data on its own.
Does the test pi support PD? Reading the manual, ports are grouped by column. So in some configurations it must renegotiate PD, surely. C2A going 100w -> 25w when C1A gets plugged in. Perhaps it is smart enough not to do lower power configurations.

The baddest time at Greenwich
All that sounds to me like those fan cooling pads that you can get for laptops. At best it makes a small difference and the device is allowed to run hotter since you are not holding it.
I won't be surprised if they block generic docks.
I really like the form factor, if only it was more open
Plenty of USB-C docks that are much better than this, more ports and can be used with other devices.
AI generated images in everything are the new Where's Waldo
Instead of providing options with more powerful CPUs, so that you could run some extra applications, they shoot themselves in the foot with HDD lock-in. 🤦♂️
