It’s not about permission to be wrong. Writing flows until I start pre-empting counterpoints. Then the piece shifts from expressing an idea to defending it. That gravity, writing for imagined critics, exhausts the thought before it ever ships.

As a reminder, moral grandstanding about AI—especially performative refusal to engage—doesn’t slow its acceleration, improve ethics, or protect society. Constructive participation does.
People work across teams, companies, and countries. Agents will too.
Same forces. Same incentives. Same failure modes.
The challenge isn’t building agents.
It’s orchestrating them across trust, ownership, and context boundaries.
Cool ideas will emerge as builders build, especially in swe.
Heard from a few folks that they procrastinate publishing because they want to make sure it’s good enough and I totally get it, I worry about that too.
But I’ve gotten pretty good at deciding enough is enough and going ahead anyway so here’s a thread with things I don’t like but decided were fine.
