No worries!
I'm about halfway through. Can't wait for the rest.

An early frontrunner for best Australian political cartoon of 2026.
For my puzzled non-Australian followers...
1. "Get This" was a cult Australian radio show.
2. They once had a caller who delivered ducks (for eating).
3. When asked about the popularity of his deliveries, he simply replied "People want ducks".
4. That phrase is now a podcast.
A logo for the People Want Ducks podcast, which is a tribute to the Aussie radio show Get This. Pictured are the classic "flying ducks" decorations of 1960s Australia, along with a few other images from the show.
Of all the things I didn't expect in 2026, receiving an impromptu rendition of "Ooh Ah, Gabe McGrath..." sung by Aus comedy great @thegregfleet.bsky.social would have to be near the top.
Thanks for the laughs, in the latest episode of the @peoplewantducks.bsky.social podcast.
And I would have listened earlier!
But there's no "new episode blue dot" on your icon on my Spotify.

Greg's a great bloke online, and I assume - offline too.
PS WTF.... I didn't know you had an ep out at last! Can't wait to start listening.
Thanks for the prompt reply.
Still working towards end of draft 1 here, but collecting tips for later.
PS: My memoir's set in Melbourne so I might have similar 'fun' with editors in the future.
I find this kind of thread *fascinating*.
How 'genuine' the language is versus how familiar to foreign eyes.
At some point, my memoir will have to go through this filter.

Ahhhh, gotcha.
Is Henry.... Leroy's brother?
Hey @tonymartin.bsky.social,
Have you seen Trump-goes-Nick Kershaw, thanks to the SA Iran Embassy social media team?

If I was working there, I'd sneak in a small Tiberium harvester.
Actually I've conflated 2 sketches there.
Marg Downey's (brilliant) character was an SBS satire... whereas Victor & Svedta were more of a "put the familiar through a foreign lens" sketch.
I would be delighted if this took off worldwide, and Aussies had to start explaining Fast Forward, and then SBS.
Brilliant film.
Very sad there was no sequel.
Although, it's obvious the makers of the recent Naked Gun film saw it, and though... "Hmmmmm, there's our guy."
Wow, here's another Writers' Festival in my area.
The Lake Macquarie "Write Here" Festival.
Good programme.
Check it out, via the link.

Hehe - thankyou.
I was very fortunate to catch the 3 legends in Sydney about 20 years ago for a live show.
My wife and I waited in the freezing cold for an hour afterwards to meet them. True gentlemen.
We were in London in January. I'd shown my teenage son a few Goodies episodes.
I excitedly pointed out the "giant kitten tower" that falls over
Damn! Twinkle! Yes.
I think you'll find the 4th astronaut, with Tim, Bill & Graeme was in fact Mittens.
Fantastic.
Did you see GM's film a few years ago?
Came and went at the cinemas very quickly.
It's amazing
Every time you make a niche Late Show reference on Bluesky, a kitten smiles.
A Melbourne weekend, and my one lunch destination was this burger chain who support #SIZZLETOWN
Aussies, if you enjoyed The Late Show / Martin Molly / Get This... you'll love this podcast.
It's @tonymartin.bsky.social, without middle-management sanding all the edges off.
I think it's OK, if you put "running freeeeeee" twice. (The second one has to have extra ee's)
Whereas a single utterance... does not trigger the Farnsey defence.
A David Lynch find-the-character book... set in the worlds he created?
