The "featured lawyers" list on our website showing Lee Zeldin at #1, a position previously occupied by Pam Bondi, who is no longer on the list.

We removed Pam Bondi from our "featured lawyers" list, and replaced her with Lee Zeldin, reportedly Trump's leading candidate to replace her. Bondi is no longer featured. At all.

Our take: not great, Bob.

Florida Bar rejects complaint accusing Bondi of ‘misconduct’ as attorney general The complaint said Bondi’s actions “threaten the rule of law and the administration of justice.”

The Florida bar refused to investigate bar complaints against Bondi under the dubious claim that it "does not investigate... sitting officers appointed under the U.S. Constitution while they are in office."
We now expect (not) the FL bar to launch an investigation promptly.

We really don't think the new Acting AG is very good. It is, in fact, our opinion that he's a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad Acting AG.

The attorney is Joseph Mazzara, whose multiple past instances of questionable conduct are already documented on our website. We will be adding this to the list, of course.

In Scathing Ruling, Judge Finds 3 Trump Prosecutors Are in Unlawful Roles

Another glorious day at the DOJ.

DOJ is looking to remove an entire cohort of lawyers--DOJ lawyers--from disciplinary requirements the public has long relied on. It offers no timelines under which a state could follow up if DOJ does not.

Again, the administration is looking to run out the clock to remain unaccountable.

7/7 Also, as the court noted, this was not the only time Ishahra failed to follow a court order under similar circumstances.
You can read all about this unfathomable chain of misconduct in the Court's decision from 2/20:

6/7 Also contrary to the court's order, the petitioner was released without his identification documents. Petitioner's counsel contacted Isihara to inquire about how the petitioner could get his documents back. Isihara never responded, nor did he take any action to look into the matter.

1/7 We're pretty sure most of our followers are aware of the fact that SAUSA Matt Isihiara was found in civil contempt for failing to follow court orders. But we doubt most are aware how very badly he failed at following court orders.
