The game that grabbed my attention the fastest was Dialect. I've loved the idea since I saw the Kickstarter, but I've never actually played it. Need to fix that.

My first writing credit on a ttrpg was The Great Beast of Dupont, a zine adventure for Best Left Buried.
First game I played online was Band of Blades, which I ran over lockdown. I was lucky enough to have an incredible trio of players, and we told an epic story together.
The first game I ran was Hunter: the Reckoning. WoD definitely had me in its clutches in my teens and early twenties!
The first proper campaign I played in was Vampire: the Masquerade, when I was a student.
Honourable mentions:
The first game I bought was Werewolf: the Apocalypse, second edition. The clawmark cut-out on the front cover caught my eye in a book shop, and I couldn't resist.

Tor, the evidence that you're some kind of fey creature is certainly stacking up.
Sneaking over the line just in time, IN THE LIBRARY WITH THE WRENCH is fully funded in the first hour!

I did a seminar at #chillcon today! Some people asked me to share the slides, and I said I'd do what I can. So... here they are.

I will never not upvote dawizard
Hope you're having an amazing time! I missed out on tickets, I was gutted 😭
A slide that reads "Presenting games primarily as consumer products undermines arguments to preserve and make them accessible as an art form." from a MAGFest panel. That panel from the Dark Knight Returns where he breaks the gun also is on there.
That's what I'm talking about.
Having watched it: nah, maybe not.
New Folding Ideas video! Maybe there's some hope for 2026 after all.
Letters of marque??
What year is this?
I'm doing stuff tonight, but we should definely revive the socially distanced film club at some point!
Oh! Yeah, that was great. Probably worth another watch!
(Which naval one? My memories of that time are fuzzy at best!)
Wait, hang on, you haven't watched this???
Oh my god
@writervh.bsky.social am I right in thinking we did an online watch party during the covid days?
It's that magical time of year when I want to watch AD/BC again.

Learned this one the hard way!
Risk Legacy is £18 in Morrisons! As a game it's fine, but as an artefact of board game history it's a must-have. The game that kicked off the Legacy craze, and pioneered several things that are now commonplace.
We've got two copies. Never finished either.
Got a pitch for a high-risk game show exclusively for German coeliacs:
Gluten Tag.
I'll see myself out.
Rare footage of me being entirely honest on a podcast. (Vodcast?)

We didn't make it in the end! Absolutely gutted. Hope it went well, and best of luck with the rest of the tour.
Hi Jay! I have a ten year old daughter who obsesses over your videos. I'm thinking of bringing her on Wednesday, do you get many kids at these? I don't wanna bring her if it's an adults only affair.
I'm so sorry, I hope you can overcome this setback.
What's your favourite build up / drop in a non EDM song?
