If you genuinely think people do this shit for clout then I think you need to reevaluate the idea of profiting off your hobbies. Most people I know do this shit for fun. My friends who don't shiny hunt still find mystery in Pokemon games because any encounter could be their first shiny.

Lastly I just want to talk about some of the hunts I'm doing right now. I'm over odds for budew in eterna forest at 16k and anything but zigzagoon or tailow in petalberg woods at 11k. I'm at 3k for a kanto starter in some GBA games I sold Lego to buy. And I haven't even been counting for mewtwo
