10. Thrift Shopping. Not sure if it's from growing up w/hand-me-downs that make it a *thing*, but rehoming or finding a restoration project to keep my hands busy brings me a lot of joy. It's easy on the wallet and I can find unique things that are very "me". I'm big on repurposing & reducing waste.
I got a ROG Ally for my birthday, and I don't know if I've finally hit a tech barrier that I've never encountered before, or just don't mesh well with it. I don't know if anyone else has had difficulties/adjustments with it in their experience? I want to love it, but it's a finicky contraption :/

when I fill out the stupid link to appeal it, that email address section is greyed out to whomsteverthefuck it is, I can't edit it to my original email on the account, so I can't even get notifications to fix it IF there is hope on Xs side

just hug someone & see a friendly face. I see my husband everyday, so there's some daily human contact, but I really miss my family & friends in Aus. Life happens, I get it, but I'm internally screaming that my social life lives in text messages 100% of the time. Yet I used to thrive this way (5/6)
trying to be more sociable -in a town where the only people I know is via my husband or prior jobs before I stopped work 4 years ago (already a VERY slim count) so having any IRL buddies is non-existent. It feels/sounds so irrational & entitled, but I had no idea how badly I miss being able to (4/6)

BUT (there's always a but) a friend I hadn't seen in 6 or 7 years was also there, and I reached out to see them so I could say a quick hi - sadly that wasn't feasible, but I just felt my eyes well up immediately when I read the message.
