57 acres of farmland in Lower Oxford Township have been permanently preserved!
It is part of 2645 acres on 31 farms across Pennsylvania that were protected by the State Agriculture Land Preservation Board this week.
It was wonderful to kick off Autism Acceptance Month with the school this week to see all their good work for neurodiverse students. I am also humbled and honored to receive their Legislator of the Year Award for our advocacy of the school during last year's budget.
The Vanguard School provides comprehensive education, employment, and recreation services tailored to the diverse needs of the children and adults they serve, ensuring every individual has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
We'll have fun activities for kids and adults of all ages, a chance to explore the 20 acres of woodlands and wetlands at the Y's Cassatt Preserve, animals from the Nature Center, and vendors specializing in environmental education and stewardship.
