And now because of this I am aware of both of your Bluesky accounts!

Win win win!

I’m trying to use bluesky but the honest answer is I’m just using ALL social media less.

I’d rather chat directly with you on Signal, WhatsApp, Discord, or just straight up texting me.

So send me a message. Let’s get a conversation going and catch up.

Finally, another place where I can lurk!

Which is a terrible way to operate a city and I hope in the future governments willing to form some type of city charter are able to form. The current strategy is unsustainable and will hurt the 905 just as much.

They deserve proper regional transit and local amenities and services too.

Not only does Toronto also need congestion fees but 100% of those fees should be directed to public transit operating costs and to lowering/eliminating fares.

Make the problem pay for the solution.

I guess I can now say I know how Santa feels driving a heavy vehicle overnight on Christmas Eve. And I understand why he’s kept up the job for a century but it’s great! #ChristmasBus

Sometimes the early morning walk home after night bussing is really pretty.

Enjoy your white Christmas everyone

“To the master bedroom, where the vampires feast
The ghouls all came from their humble abodes
To get a jolt from my electrodes”

Now I can’t unsee how smutty and kinky the original monster mash could be!

Excellent! Its really the only way to see me anymore haha

But also stay tuned! I’m slowly working out the rules for a prototype single player RPG about being a d&d bus driver.

It’ll combine my decades of DM experience with all that I’ve learned about driving a bus and the way public transit works

My rides are very smooth thank you very much. Much like my storytelling

Gotta say, quitting my old job to work in an industry that Elon Musk is weirdly strongly against really feels like I made the right call.

Update one week left in my probation! Has it been almost ten months already?!

1 year ago 5 0 0 0

I don't know how many folks are checking this out to see posts from me but just in case you didn't see on Facebook or Twitter, in one week I'm quitting my radio job to become a bus driver!

What?!

Here's to a new year unlike any year before!

don’t worry. In six months you’ll want the best dehumidifier money can buy. There’s maybe three weeks in the whole year where I can just have the window open and enjoy the breeze.

Ah yes. I know this season well. When my legs are arms dry up and I need to moisturise every day. In the summer the dehumidifier never turns off, in the winter the humidifier is always on. It's the cold & dry that makes the winter here more brutal than, say, Finland (which remains humid year round)

Ok, this Humble Bundle has everything including a number of excellent games from @modiphius.bsky.social and Free League Games. If you wanted to try some of the games we featured, and a number we'd love to try (looking at you, Dragonbane), don't sleep on this!

Thank you for this submission. It appears he is also classed as a bard? Excellent.

Honestly, the revival of the email newsletter has been most surprising for me.

I follow a select group of creators and storytellers that I really admire and subscribe to their email newsletters (mostly through substack) but admittedly this means I'm following much less than the twitter days.

Certainly. I’ve lost touch with so many people I only knew through online communities or conventions. It’s been really hard these last few years to reconcile that the kind of connection we had even five years ago will probably never happen again? It certainly feels like a kind of mourning.

I’m so glad I follow your newsletter

It’s wild to see social media crumble so much that email newsletters are now my preferred way to following those I want to follow.

Thanks to @mrkbennett.bsky.social I am now one with the sky!

This already feels less on-fire... ok let's see what a fresh start looks like. Take 2 everyone.
