I guess if you don't intend to experience the postgame or go for 100%, you'll hear the tournament battle theme more... The mandatory fights with ShadeMan and LaserMan use this theme, as well as the pre-Duo Dark MegaMan, and that's it. But surely no one plays Battle Network like that!

Today's banger music comes with a bonus dud. It's short, obnoxious and repetitive. The title would imply that it should have been used exclusively for when you battle Dark MegaMan, but "myself" seems to include ShadeMan and LaserMan, and any boss fought outside of a tournament.

The unique navis (guys with Man at the end of their name) tend to be more of a challenge, and you can refight them in the same fashion as other Battle Network games, but in the refights, they pick up the standard boss battle music which is called "Battle with Myself"

However, in 4 virtually every story event is tied to one of the three tournaments, culminating in the one your version is named after. In total, there are 9 tournament battles throughout the game, most of which will be with a Normal or Heel Navi, which are disappointingly weak with very low HP.

I have many opinions on Battle Network 4, to the point that I can't just leave it at "the theme was wasted".

If you're unfamiliar with the game, this is the "tournament arc" of Battle Network. The N1 Grand Prix tournament was a relatively huge focus in 3, so it almost feels unfair to complain.
