"Oh hey, women that we're *celebrating* (knowing chuckles all around), you go get behind the strong white men for this photo please"
CLASSIC MAGA
All I see there is 100+ million Americans would still vote for him tomorrow.
America is so fucked.
That's not how that works. You don't get to change starting positions first and *then* negotiate as though those are two separate processes.
This is exactly the behaviour I'd expect from the Epstein Class of US negotiators, who are entirely used to working within abused/abuser relationships.
That is correct. We get a vote, despite the blathering and threats from American hatchet men Lutnick, Greer, and Hoekstra.
"Stabbed"? You can just say that.
Term limits, America. Get on that shit.
Oh really, why wouldn't Trump want people knowing about American troops getting their legs blown off, killed, etc?
π that's the GOP, folks.
Don't worry, half of America will pretend it's totally normal
I mean, "great", but Republicans still support him at 80%+ and he still has a rabid, hard-voting base of (currently) 38%. More than 120 mil Americans still love him.
Unless he literally spent two weeks murdering puppies live on TV I'm not sure any act exists that would land him at 20% or less.
Pope Leo is not subtle and does not pull punches lmao.
Not religious, but I very much like and respect this man.
God DAMN it's as though it's a race to see just how vile Trump and his MAGA regime can be.
And most Americans won't even know about it because they just don't care enough to read.
The (Swiss) federal administration βaims to reduce its dependency on Microsoft, step by step and in the long termβ.
American hegemony and soft power fade. China laughs. The world moves on from US solutions.
Is it really a debate, though? I think it's pretty obvious. They saw, variously:
1) A chance at money and power via proximity to Trump
2) A chance to implement Handmaid's Tale 2025
3) A chance to permanently disenfranchise "the libs"
Agreed.
It's the democratic equivalent of lead in the drinking water. The longer we wait to remove it, the more lasting the damage will be.
Nah, they all knew. They just saw their shot at money and power via the orange god and decided it was worth it.
"...because the GOP supports my sexual assaults! It's so inclusive for rich white guys like me who are so hard done by."
LMAO Tucker doesn't give a shit, he's just worried his gravy train is coming to a stop.
JFC there is just no end to the grift, top to bottom.
Is the answer building concentration camps, screaming randomly at 'friends', incinerating their scientific apparatus, shredding the constitution, and bringing back measles and polio?
Cause that seems to be what they are actually doing.
Oh we have an "America" problem. There are 100+ million Americans who think Trump/MAGA are doing just fine. They would *happily* vote in Trump's replacement tomorrow.
That is a structural, endemic problem that actually has little to do with a single man.

People have said the EU lacks a leader to speak for them in a definitive voice.
It looks as if they've found that person in the prime minister of Canada.
Whether it's JD Vance telling the Pope not to stick his nose in Theology, or Pierre Poilievre claiming that Mark Carney is bad at Economics, we are truly living through a Golden Age of self-entitled mediocrities whose only move is projecting their own inadequacy upon their critics and opponents.
That's exactly it. Like...the fact that he picked *this* to fight Carney on is solid evidence of Poilievre's general incompetence as a leader.
There's plenty of attack vectors he could have chosen, and he chose Carney's primary, and universally acknowledged, strength.
Man it's just so weird and out of character that Trump lied during his campaign. I mean, if you can't trust a child-raping, tax-evading, affair having, grabbing-her-by-the-pussy TV celebrity, who *can* you trust!?
Decoupling continues. Canadian exports to USA down 5% YoY, but with many other countries up significantly.
This is what Canadians want to see from now on - to extent practical, detach from USA and strengthen partnerships with everyone else.

There is no doubt that the reliability of the USA since Trump has taken office has massively suffered, politically, economically and militarily. It will eventually lead to more countries detaching themselves from Washington.
