What a busy day looks like in 2026.
My university age daughter has started to watch Malcom In The Middle. She asked me why their family is so much like ours. Not sure if this is good or bad yet. But, if I’m like Bryan Cranston (@bryancranstononsky.bsky.social) in her eyes, I’m not upset.

If you’re switching from arrogant apple eating to arrogant pizza pizza eating… Canada is behind you and so am I.
I only eat foods that rhyme. Fish Dish, Lamb Jam, Stew Brew. By doing this, I ensure my meals are relatable and memorable.

Very easy to spoof short codes. But, my thought here isn’t really about SMS. The world needs better forms of identity verification. As an example: I sort of like what Bluesky is doing here with domain verification. We need some sort of reliable method for all forms of communication to be validated.
JC! … no, SS7 has no reliable form of sender auth. It’s a tough problem to solve. SMS identity verification for example needs to be globally compatible. I think that’s the only reason short codes are used. Better than nothing maybe?
Identity verification is becoming a lot more important. I’m surprised there aren’t more products and services in this area.
Here’s an example from FedEx. It’s a legitimate message from them, but there’s no way I’m going to interact with it.
We need a better way to “blue checkmark” everything.
I thought I’d commemorate my first BlueSky post with the help of AI. I’ll post infrequently, but try to add some sort of value to the feed here as I do.
