We love ramps! I've been growing them from our kitchen scraps (we have a local farm that cultivates them) for a few years now, and a local native plant nursery sells the plants from seed. We hope to have a harvestable patch in the next 2-3 years. Happy Spring!
This is gorgeous.
Excited to have a new solarpunk poem out at @foofarawpress.bsky.social today!
I spent yesterday morning helping out @sunandsoil.bsky.social with a gardening project, so it must be a garden-y type of a weekend.

I do, in fact, love this book. A lot.

This is the best thing on the internet today.
Issue Two of Adventitious contains, among other things, a thousand-year-old monster who charges 1000 zΕoty to remove a rusalka from your child's iPad and then eats it in her car.
This is representative of our editorial vision.
Just to be clear-- our president, the man with the nuclear codes and the military might of the United States in his hands-- is publicly promising AND ACTIVELY COMMITTING war crimes and crimes against humanity. Hey Congress-- DO YOUR JOB and take his power away!
A set of screenshots from DEEP SPACE NINE. An old Klingon throws his arms around Dax and shouts "Curzon, my beloved old friend!" Dax returns the hug and says "I'm Jadzia now." The Klingon grabs her shoulders, smiles, and says "Jadzia, my beloved old friend!"
Star Trek figured this out thirty years ago. It's not hard. Even an old, drunk Klingon got it.
@trreadathon.bsky.social Has some great stuff going on today! It's the last day of their epic auction to support @pointofpride.org , and today ONLY they have a list of a bunch of trans ebooks that are FREE! Check out their website for more info! transrightsreadathon.carrd.co
It's Trans Day of Visibility! Hi! I'm polygender, and prefer "they" most days. I've published 3 children's books, have poems in multiple kidlit anthologies, and recently began publishing speculative short fiction and poetry. Also, these people help keep me safe. Love them. transgenderlawcenter.org
Just feel the need to tell y'all... there's a tier that includes input into *sticker creation.* Stickers!!!
Yay! Congratulations!!!!
I've been reading a bunch to raise funds for the Transgender Law Center during the #transrightsreadathon ... and ... I raise money for them year-round! I sell $5 handmade doodle bookmarks to support their work. www.sarahgracetuttle.com/shop
Back after Shabbat and there is $829 to go! Click on the embed to find out how to contribute - can we use some of the No Kings energy to get a trans person safely out of Kansas?

Honestly, we need queer art and stories now more than ever. And, doomscrolling tanks mental health. So, every person reading your magazine (likely a lot of queer folks!) who pauses their doomscrolling to read some soul-feeding words has taken an opportunity to mitigate harm. Promote away.

Here are 3 ideas for resisting US fascism today! 1) Search for a local mutual aid group. Learn how to give/get help. 2) Print Know Your Rights cards and put them in a Little Free Library/on a community bulletin board. 3) Create something. ("The opposite of war isn't peace. It's creation!" - RENT)
I wanted "A Place to Grow" by @sarahgracetuttle.bsky.social to close out Issue 1 because it's potent, hopeful, and "growth" is a vital theme for a plucky upstart mag. Plus, the flash piece has
