Coachella is removing these videos, so they might be about to learn about the Strokesand Effect.

The World is Rejecting Trump's Unwinnable Iran War & Israel's Unforgivable Genocide
Trump has no exit strategy from his failed Iran War, so he's doubling down on chaos, belligerent threats, & violence as Israel continues its genocidal rampage across the Mid East.

Coachella is trying to wipe all of the footage of The Strokes protest set so I’m gonna post it here. The last images on the screen made me cry.
When our eldest was 5 we knew he was scared whenever he'd say unprompted, "I'm not scared. I'm not scared at all!"
Anyway, Melania Trump just held a press conference to say unprompted she has "no connection to Epstein" and her emails to Ghislane Maxwell were just "casual correspondence."
Be best!
Armageddon is terrible, but our only other option was diversity trainings at work.
The Israeli military bombs and destroys the Rafi Nai synagogue in Iran. Western media largely ignores the atrocity. I cannot imagine why. 🤔 youtube.com/shorts/XhKYG...

bitch, we have Andrew Jackson on our money. our default money. the only money the bank robot knows how to hand out.
Among the more exalted moments of Trump’s primetime speech last night was a threat to send Iran back to the “Stone Ages – 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑦 𝑏𝑒𝑙𝑜𝑛𝑔”. I have no idea what Trump’s ancestors were doing in the 5th to 4th centuries BC but I doubt they were producing artifacts like the one in the picture here, an Achaemenid-period gold griffin-headed armlet, part of 180 pieces of metalwork discovered in Tajikistan in the late 19th century. Bactria as it was then was the easternmost province of the Persian empire of that period. The armlet comes from what’s known as the Oxus Treasure, on which see https://www.academia.edu/34128317/The_Oxus_Treasure_British_Museum_Objects_in_Focus_London_2012_
The wonderful Jairus Banaji
Your regular reminder that complicity with fascism will not protect you or your loved ones.
To whoever did this at the #NoKings in Boston: Thank you.❤️
It made me tear up. And we must to be reminded of needless damage to humanity that results directly from the careless, bellicose bluster coming from the Pentagon and White House.
There's a paper trail.
They are profiting off of war crimes in real time.

photograph or a poster on cream colored paper. "Dear President Ambar, we are writing to you on a typewriter that is over 70 years old. This is a machine that we all know well. With it, we misspell words without the crutch of spell check or generative AI and we think intently about every phrase we pound out. As we force ourselves, for once, to slow down, we engage in a cognitive dialogue with ourselves. We do not seek perfection because we know that education is about the growing and challenging of our young minds' potential, not the chasing of institutional 'gold-star' approval. We do not believe that your so-called 'Year of AI Exploration; providing enterprise ChatGPT and Google Gemini subscriptions to every Oberlin student aligns with our college's founding principles. You claim that this year will be one of experimentation, not adoption. But even just one semester of accepted (encouraged even) chat bot use will jettison our student body down a lazy and irredeemable tunnel of intellectual destruction. We are a college grounded in learning and labor, which now risks straying from these rooted ideals. With ChatGPT at the helm, our emails, essays, and discussion posts will be generated for us, not by us. And let's not fool ourselves. This is precisely what these platforms will be used for by our busy, anxious student body. We see your vision for this year as.advancing the college's 'businessification'--an alarming trend also seen in the takeover of our beloved library cafe by a 'bookstore' with no books in stock and an app replacing customer service. In one instance, the college assumes we want efficiency at all costs through automated rather than hand pulled coffee. In the other lies the false belief that we simply desire to turn in an essay, regardless of how little we've written of it." there's more that doesn't fit in the 2000 character limit :(
OH MY HEART...the Oberlin Luddites Reject "The Year of AI Exploration"! 💚
This is utterly extraordinary.
If Hegseth et al got this wrong, think what else is happening with the drug boat strikes and much more.

This seems very on brand, actually.
I hope people are photographing the unmasked ICE agents. Let’s find out who they are.
Israel has struck hospitals, emergency services orgs, K-12 schools, residential homes, sports stadiums, historical and cultural sites, energy infrastructure, desalination plants. Now they are attacking Iranian universities. Just like in Gaza & Lebanon

The Trump administration is gearing up to kick an estimated six million more people off of food assistance programs — including nearly two million children.
The move would save just $1 billion a year, while Trump spends upwards of $1 billion per *day* on his new forever war.
Priorities.
If you have an hour to educate yourself about what is happening in Iran on the ground level, and the context of the US-Iranian relations, I invite you to watch this teach-in that we held:
If you find it helpful, feel free to share. ❤️

The Iranian regime devastated Arad and Dimona by deliberately striking civilians with missiles. Over 100 people were injured, including children. A blatant war crime. Pure terrorism.
What a remarkable complaint.

It is *fascinating* to me how quickly some people have gone completely from “we all must work in the office! human collaboration is vital and only happens in person!” to “I can replace all these pesky people with chatbots!” Definitely some commentary there about our society and who gets to choose.
Yeah, this is for sure going to move the needle. Sigh.
The federal government is explicitly arguing that "wearing black clothes" at a noise demonstration is "enough to convict the eight defendants accused of material support" for terrorism. The outcome of this trial cold be catastrophic.
"Accidentally" twice. 40 minutes apart. Double tap to kill rescuers.
Thanks to AI our war crime productivity is through the roof!
