I know Christians who voted for Trump because they were convinced that Trump would make life better for their neighbor. But Jesus said that our neighbor is the unwanted foreigner living in our midst (Luke 10). These Christians elevate secular immigration law over the law of Christ.

Christian support for Trump that essentially boils down to “he’s a great deal-maker” only makes sense within a world that prioritizes the accumulation of wealth, which is another way to say that many people support Trump because they’re greedy.

Trump: "Participate in the New American Imperialism, or accept second-class press treatment. Promote the New American Imperialism, or risk losing first-hand access to current events."

Looks like Trump wants another Trail of Tears (Gaza Edition). Better to support Palestinians staying in their land AND invest in the redevelopment of the infrastructure, because that is the truly humane thing to do. Instead, the US returns to colonialism, with support from MAGA Christians.
