I love Traveler Character Creation. And it feeds into the philosophy of zero level play - to see how your commoner character became a hero, as opposed to being born predestined for greatest (usually when you get to write their backstory)

Dare I say this makes sense to me as a lit major - although I also fail to see the point in rooting out ever-fractalizing subgenre distinctions, it is mostly of use for purely marketing purposes
