People keep saying *GenAI* is good now, but you mostly find they're talking about Claude. A specific product is vastly different than a whole market of products.

Part of the frustration from GenAI execs, I think, is they believe all *good* technology was quickly adopted and assimilated in the past because they lived in nerd bubbles. But, actually, most technology has taken a long time to be adopted, and been fought over by different parts of society.

Not true, obvs. But the way some old heads reacting to the *leak* (which doesn't seem 100% true) is a little extreme. You can't find one (1) char to gel with out of 32?

Yeah, I mean the margins probably aren't in it with dev times. It's difficult to make crossovers when it takes 5 years and the characters move out of popularity.

Prob better revenue just doing guests, and they do a lot of good cross promotion between franchises.

It sucks as a player though.

Yeah, I play with my friend once a month or so and it's a blast. Just regular online has stopped. Wish there wasn't a six month downtime over winter.

Yeah, IDK what's going on. For a team that picked Oro, Akira and Rose at the end of SFV, the DLC is lacking a lot of spice / obscure picks. Physically groaned when Bison was shown.
