We were proud to welcome participants from NGOs across Poland, Belgium, Slovakia, and Slovenia — bringing diverse experiences and powerful insights to the conversation. @marcinwozniak.bsky.social, @nadyaj.bsky.social
🌟 Thrilled to share that our NGO workshop in Slovenia — Perspectives on Redressing Radical Polarisation — successfully took place this April! 🇸🇮
It was inspiring to connect with many committed individuals and organizations working to alleviate radical polarization and strengthen resilient democracies
We will share key insights about our progress and present some early trends in the depolarization initiatives we have coded so far. This is also an excellent opportunity for both new and existing members to reconnect and contribute to our collective efforts.
Join us for an online meeting about the Repository, which maps media and civil society initiatives across Europe to counter polarization and strengthen democratic values

I have been working with colleagues from all over Europe on @depolarisingeu.bsky.social, trying to understand a bit more about what divides us and brings us together. It's a nice project to follow!
This year, HEPP focused on the relationship between populism, polarisation, and emotions and how polarisation challenges social contracts as societal consensuses and sources of solidarity.
Throughout 2024, DepolarisingEU continued to bring together researchers working on polarisation and support their academic work!
Here are our networking activities last year in numbers!
Our Action members participated in the 5th Helsinki Conference on Emotions, Populism, and Polarisation, HEPP5, from 5 to 7 March 2025, with three panels and 10 presentations! depolarising.eu/blog/depolar...
