FYI for fellow narrative designers/game writers: the studio in question is Sentona Games and it’s my understanding they are currently interviewing to replace me. Be very careful with them. They were very nice to me and easy to work with right up until I needed the money I was promised.

one of the saddest things about video games using generative AI for bulk environmental decals and posters and stuff is they’re such cool opportunities to expand lore and sneak in jokes and leaving a computer to spit out generic malformed gibberish just smacks of not giving a shit

The fucking head of fucking XBox Graphics used a fucking "AI" slop image to hire new engineers but couldn't tell that the fucking screen on the fucking monitor is facing backwards.
