My partner’s the opposite. His is all live takes. Never edits. Spends ages synthesising sound, loads of modulation. A few recordings and moves on, and because he uses modular, once it’s recorded he pulls out the cables and may not be able to remake it.
All this while I’m in an editing rabbit hole!

Flailing a Hedge not only looks shit, but it eventually makes a hedge top heavy with no weaving in new shoots or cutting new shoots shorter to get a healthier hedge. Laying takes ages, flailing can be done from a tractor quickly and badly. So farmers go for the quick option. I like laying a hedge.

Out of interest, considering a lot of these strikes are drones, how does anyone confirm who’s drone it is? Couldn’t Israel or the US send a drone to convince ‘allies’ to back the illegal war?
