It Is Time for Ruthless Aggression The national battle over gerrymandering should be just the first step. Next up: expanding SCOTUS.

“Expanding the Supreme Court is no different that redistricting in California and Virginia. It is a proportionate response to Republican attempts to degrade liberal democracy and move America toward a post-liberal order.”

When I worked for a little NYC start-up named Murdoch Electronic Publishing in 1987, express lane career path that opened for people with a useful skill set and a serious addiction was a basically a core corporate policy. Money fed their addiction and addiction gave management total control.

This reminds me of a Zen adage (characteristically hyperbolic) that if a student matches their teacher's understanding — they'll diminish the tradition by half. The student must go further still.

If I’m not mistaken Israel didn’t send forces at all to Iraq or Afghanistan, while NATO countries contributed troops for no reason other than solidarity. I’ve yet to see a compelling argument for any potential benefit Israel is providing as a U.S. ally right now.

The message of the Right reacting to Virginia is the same as the message of "2020 was rigged": no victory by anyone but us is ever legitimate. We are the only ones allowed to win.

These people are cartoon villains entitled to no respect and no trust. Rabid dogs.

Says a guy who wants to use the Federal Government to go after opponents of genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity.

It's not that Chuck is wrong about Trump weaponizing DOJ, it's that Schumer too is a racist hypocrite and genocide sponsor who has no credibility as a Free Speech defender.

Syria should be given 8,000,000,000 USD in free military assistance per year in order to deter this kind of behavior from its aggressive neighbor

Palantir are the experts at sending weaponised drones to kill undesirables so makes sense they control the air traffic system. Everything tested in Gaza is coming home.

People fail to mass organise and take action. Totally fucked.

The Untapped Potential of Organized Mainline American Protestantism Around the country, Mainline Protestant churches are stepping up to help organizing the resistance to ICE's incursions into their communities.

“Judging by current trends, the future isn't bright for organized American Christianity of any kind. But for now, white mainline Protestants continue to have untapped potential for progressive politics.” www.liberalcurrents.com/the-untapped...

“The better path for Israel right now, in my view, is for Israel to ask friends like Germany, Poland and Czechia to block any Spanish initiative, and I think they will,” Abrams continued. “Sanchez’s hostility to Israel is not consensus among EU leaders, even given their criticism of [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu.”

Cook said Washington is unlikely to step in unless core defense supply chains are threatened. He noted that the “only way the U.S. would get involved is if Europeans tried to hold up parts for [Israel’s] F-35s [fighter jets],” adding that “critical components are built in Europe.”

Fitton-Brown, on the other hand, said that the U.S. should take action in response. He argued that a potential option could be for Washington to “question Spain’s right to protection from NATO,” adding that the U.S. could argue that such members that “undermine a key U.S. ally do not qualify as allies themselves.”

“The U.S. should make clear that it will not tolerate anti-Israeli policies beyond a certain point,” Fitton-Brown said. “Sanchez is almost equally showy in his anti-Americanism, and should be taught that such a policy is not without costs.”

Pro-Israel analysts in Washington DC want Trump to threaten Spain (and other European countries) with de facto expulsion from NATO if they're too mean to Israel, a country not in NATO and not even in a treaty-bound relationship to the US.
