As someone who has actually ridden the line I would have instead picked Hala Kaliki in River Grove, the Fox River Trail in Elgin, and Wintrust Field, the only thing around the Schaumburg Station.

I really find it hard to believe the marketing team at Metra actually uses the system outside of their "Dine by your Line" videos. All of these are all at least a mile away from their respective stations with little if any transit options available, with one not being anywhere close to the station.

As usual, they don't tell the "truth" as it is.

It's no surprise that ski bus service ends shortly after Alta stops requiring parking reservations. The resorts will only support as much as they have to. It really should be 1-hour headways in the off-season for hikers, especially those trying to go one way across the Alta-Brighton ridge.

While I am happy that there is actually service today unlike another Christian Holiday, it still sucks that the best headway you will see system wide is 30-minutes, especially when there are crowds of people trying to get downtown for another religious event.

You can see how much the residential quad was cut back, with only a pathway on the back the stadium being added. I can't say how much it was used before the shift, but I can assure you that very few people use it today, with good reason.

The section of Lucinda Ave this car crashed was only paved a decade ago when Douglass Hall was demolished to allow a straighter alignment. Despite the high likelihood of drivers using this a dragway, no traffic calming methods were added except crosswalk signage.

As soon as I thought about how important centrality was, I knew SLC would make it onto this list.

Oh most definitely, this was from an hour and a half delay and some minor rolling stock issues. I have also written in for hour plus delays on the Hiawatha And Lincoln Service and have gotten $15-25 back.

For context this was for a roomette from Galesburg to SLC where our train was late leaving both Chicago and Denver due to locomotive issues and our half of the sleeper car losing AC. My letter focused on Amtrak making their rolling stock issues more transparent to the public.

The best part about taking Amtrak is that if you experience issues or delays on your trip, they will reimburse with a decent travel voucher you can actually use when you write into them, and not just points that barely cover the cost of your travels.

I'm not mad about Disney cracking down on this, but worried about the precedent this sets. Instead of trying to fix the Park-N-Ride issue by giving a proper way to reduce the cost for parking, they are opening the door to pay walling transit, and I'm not talking about fares.

Lynx could charge $4 for parking and it would still be half the price as parking at Disney for a family of 4 (4 Round trips x $4 Roundtrip + $4 Parking= $20 compared to $40). This would also halve the current travel time between downtown Orlando and the Premium Outlets.

If I was Lynx Bus Orlando, I'd be taking advantage of all the people trying to avoid paying for parking by adding a Park-N-Ride stop in the vacant plot near the recently reconstructed DC Pkwy. The 300 currently expresses straight to the TTC minus a stop on Disney Springs.

Normally I only have to E-Bike back from load outs at the Maverik Center but the UTA decided to do a State of Good Repair closure on the Green Line this weekend despite there being a show tonight. It's hard enough to make use of it with service ending at 10:30p, let alone with a bus bridge.

It's about time that Democrats started giving Republicans a taste of their own medicine, not with the redistricting, but using the partisan policies the state enacted against the legislators who enacted it.
