Back a couple of days now and just about recovered from the London Book Fair. Always a fascinating, jolly (and exhausting) event.

It's a great city! I did the Round Sheffield Run a couple of years ago and was amazed at how easy it was to suddenly be in the countryside.

Off to Sheffield to pick up daughter for the final time. She's moving back to Norfolk! Farewell A17 and A1, I can't say I'll miss you, but I will miss having an excuse to visit Sheffy. I reckon I've stayed in every hotel there over the past 6 years.

Oh I do like a prawn cocktail crisp. Not sure I've seen Seabrook here; I shall keep my eyes peeled. Thank you for the recommendation.

My first post here has to be one that celebrates Salt's 25th birthday! We had a great night in Sheffield with Rhyme & Reason bookshop (also 25), Sheffield Hallam Uni and lots of fab Salt authors reading. Huge thanks to everyone! I have no idea where the years have gone to!
