After my first day of #Pragmata I'm enjoying it immensely. The game is so much fun to play! I'm fully prepared to do anything for Diana, even if it means the game rips my heart out. Though I don't know if that's what this game is going for. It's been an amazing ride so far.

I really wanted to see Ready or Not 2, but I think yesterday was its last day at my theater. Oh well.

It’s a movie weekend. Already saw Super Mario Galaxy on Wednesday, which was flawed but also fed my soul with Mario nostalgia. Today I already saw a 9:20am showing of Prpject Hail Mary (my second viewing) and I liked it even more. As I write this, I’m awaiting a post-lunch matinee of Hoppers.

Well, yesterday there was an update to the game. And one of the things updated was Deimos' dialogue now plays on the TV. I find it hilarious this wasn't a considerations before the game launched. And if I completed it in a timely manner, I would have missed this part of the game entirely.

There was no option in the game to have the vocal audio from Deimos come from the TV instead. So, very often in the game while these two characters would talk, it was Kratos having a discussion with his brother, then just 15 seconds of silence while I read the subtitles to the missing dialogue.

Ever since having sounds coming from your controller was a thing, I always turn that off on a system level. I want zero sounds emanating from my controller speaker. So the way this game was dealing with that was no sound.

I'm home sick this week and I've been playing God of War: Sons of Sparta. One thing that has been annoying me with this game is Krato's brother Deimos will talk to you from a distance via magic. But that sound comes from your controller.

I guess it's now called the Department of Military Operations.

I really liked it! It was very funny, well paced, and full of heart. I kind of wish they didn't skip over so much of the science that's explaining why they're doing what they're doing, but I'm glad some other things not in the book were thrown in. I think this is going to be a huge hit.

Day 4 of no power and no water from the Kona storm. Sanity failing me. Resident Evil Requiem withdrawals too much to bear.

This Kona storm has been relentless. Non stop wind and torrential rain. Our power has been out for 27 hours. Our water went out 20 hours ago. Rain scheduled for the next few days as well.
