until I deleted the advanced set-up KDP paperback title. KDP/Amazon of course insist that this has nothing to do with them, but lo and behold the moment the KDP version was deleted, my pre-order became available. I call bull shit. 3/3

Having the same ISBN on multiple versions of a paperback providing they are identical is legal and a regular practice for those who use IS for general distribution and KDP paperbacks for Prime delivery and printing. But they blocked my upcoming paperback pre-order 2/3

Warning to authors out there who have started used KDP's 'set up paperback title ahead of release date' option but also use IngramSpark for paperback pre-orders: the KDP paperback's existence will block the pre-order title from appearing on Amazon if they share the same ISBN 1/3

I'm so excited for the upcoming release of my dark, Gothic villain romance, The Boy from the Sea. If you like twisted folk horror with a psychological twist and a contemporary setting then you'll adore this. What's better: the audiobook is out already!
