Today, I’m halfway to 32.

I remember being a little kid, and my mom celebrating our half birthdays with us. Half birthdays as an adult, especially after last year, feel even more precious with time. Enjoyed another sunset over the city on my way home. #Philly

It’s been a long year, but I’m grateful for improved health and wonderful memories. Sending lots of love to everyone as you navigate the holiday season, and I hope for warmth and kindness for all.

Wicked was everything I wanted and more. I cried at least 75% of the film (but don’t worry, I still held space for the lyrics of Defying Gravity.)

Diffused my naturally curly hair into what feels like a new look. ✨

We had to leave in the middle of Shrek 2 because there was a shooting at the other side of the mall.

If you want to know the state of my mental health right now, I just cried because my cat gets to live in the same timeline as famous composer John Williams.

Philadelphians and their surrounding neighbors deserve robust, safe, affordable, and accessible public transit. The refusal to properly fund SEPTA is a devastating domino effect in the making for our communities.

It shouldn’t take Jalen Hurts scoring touchdowns for any Philly school to be adequately funded and kept safe/cool in the hotter months of the year.

It really shouldn’t even be his responsibility.

The amount of people I’ve seen already putting up Christmas decorations too. The local Christmas tree guy had already put together his shop before Halloween. Hanging on to the little joy we have left, lol.
