“Take Off” is available as a print on my website—link in bio. This is one of my favorite photos I captured this year. It shows a beautiful wild turkey hen taking off from the top of a roosting tree, with its wings spread out gracefully.

With spring catapulting from a foot of snow to 80 degree weather in Montana, I figured I’d share one of the last winter photos I captured this year. This beautiful Mountain Bluebird sat in the windy winter wonderland while I got a bunch of photos of it.

I had a close encounter with a young Mule Deer the other day and was able to capture one of my most detailed photos of a deer to date. It was definitely fun spending some time with this young doe at such close range.

“Watching Closely.” I unexpectedly crossed paths with a Red Fox near a log jam the other day. He watched me from the brush before trotting on then later revealed himself again with a flash of red through the trees likely watching me the entire time. A cool moment and an even better photo.
Fall in Montana. Here are some of my favorite shots from last fall. Definitely one of my favorite times of the year. Cooler days mixed with bright yellow leaves are hard to beat.

Gold found in Montana!!!
Not the kind you pan for, but the kind you capture and frame. Golden sunrises, sunsets, and sunflowers glowing across Montana. Moments I’ve captured over the years.

Bright green summers in Montana. I’m a summer person through and through, and I can’t wait for the season to return so I can keep chasing scenes like this.

While out along the Yellowstone River, I was finally able to capture a Cedar Waxwing perched in a tree. They’re definitely one of my favorite birds—such a unique and striking look.

On a cloudy day, I saw the distant snowy mountains catch bright sunlight, giving them a blue tint that made for a really cool landscape. One of my favorite parts of winter is how these mountains are over 50 miles away and still clear as day.

I know I’m a few days late, but better late than never. This is one of my favorite photos I captured in 2025. It was definitely a strange year, but I’m looking ahead to 2026 and all the adventures it may bring. I’ll also be making an effort to post more. Prints are available on my website in my bio.
While photographing ducks at a local lake, I captured a unique moment when a Mallard drake, an American Gadwall hen, and a Mallard hen briefly lined up, creating this beautiful composition.

While along a river, I was able to get close to a large group of seagulls gathered along the water. I was taking photos of them flying along the river’s edge when I noticed some of them carrying rocks. I ended up capturing a seagull dropping a rock midair and swooping back down to grab it.

While out along a river, I came across a beautiful Blue Heron standing on the edge of the water and I was able to capture some videos and photos.

Today marks day one of a new series I'm starting. I want to show the world that in both life and photography, perspective matters. Every photo in this series will be taken from an apartment window, showing that you can see beauty in everything; it's just a matter of your perspective.

After waking up and getting ready for school, I noticed a Mule Deer buck and doe walking along the fence line with a golden sunrise behind them. I captured the buck’s breath in the cold morning air; it was a cool sight.

While on a hike during the "golden hour," the moment turned quite literally golden. A storm blocked the sun, casting a mystical glow over the clouds. Side note: This photo is not color-enhanced.
