It is crazy that so much of America's billionaire class is willing to openly brag about being villains... and still get elected, or given power in various ways.

Fuck yeah Hungary
I hope you're wrong - I've been thinking for a couple weeks an invasion of ground forces is likely inevitable but nuking would be a big step....
If he does use a nuke I would worry about Russia being much more likely to deploy them on a ""tactical"" level in Ukraine
"it's for entertainment purposes only, but we're still using it to make Windows, cause your user experience should be a roller coaster"
Played as written Monopoly can be at least useful as a teaching tool as it demonstrates still the core of the Landlord Game and can demonstrate the issues with wealth and monopolies. It can be a useful lesson tool that way.
Aside from we see companies do that sometimes even with finished projects. Famously comes the example of Batgirl and WB Discovery - a finished film that they opted not to release and instead take the tax writeoff.
I think your MSWord might have been Compleated
The amount of layoffs that continue in this industry is crazy, and Eidos Montreal is the latest victim.
Cool to see Blizzard embracing this community event, especially in a time when we see more companies backing away from supporting Pride.

The worst part for Fortnite is that Epic Games isn't even public. It's a private company who's owner has engaged in several quixotic quests, and saying how they had money to do that for decades...
But well, lies I guess
I maintain that I really cool thing for @gog.com to do in 2026 would be to actually release Devotion.
Ya I got out of Grammarly when it started shoving AI Features in everywhere.
Majorly disappointing the way they've gone.
That is crazy.
On another note, I think we may not need to wait for post mortem on this CTE diagnosis
Primordia is one of, if not, my favorite point and click adventure game with a great world, characters, story and a smart hint system if you get stuck on puzzles that are generally well designed.
Yes, but you also won't hear about if your friends go for very long runs either now.
As for those other nations, many of them have US military bases or are have been allied with the United States.
The places may be the UAE/Qatar/Saudi Arabia, but the actual target of the assault is the alliance with the United States who, along with Israel started this war.
The Iranian strikes though are designed to put pressure on the US/Israel defenses to defend their allies. Iran has also responded by sending drones and missiles at Israel as well, despite knowing that it is largely unable to get there.
Thus instead them taking to something of more asymmetric format
I got to write about the new TMNT Magic: The Gathering Commander deck Turtle Power! and give some recommendations if you are looking to spruce it up.
The deck also has about 10 different video game related cards, and it would do great with a lot of the Fallout cards techraptor.net/tabletop/fea...
I gave the game a shot and it looks really cool! My one main complaint is about the jumpscares which feel out of place with it and fitting a more traditional horror experience compared to something thats aiming for cozy-creepy
I wrote some more about Steam Next Fest demos I tried because while only 10 made the list on TechRaptor I played a lot of them and others deserve some moments to shine too.

Any Next Fest demos you'd like to recommend?
ADOM (Ancient Domains of Mystery) a classicish roguelite that I've poured time into at times over decades. Steam has it over 500 hours... and I had put much longer long before it was on Steam.
"You're gonna turn people away from you if you make such a big deal about being against GenAI all the time."
I guarantee you that the most powerful microscope in existence could not fathom a small enough fuck that I could give.
Fuck Generative AI. ๐
One thing that this left me feeling a bit odd about is Ghost Story, which seemed to be his first attempt at a more reflective story but I feel didn't manage to hit the highs of Twelve Months in exploring ideas.
It was an interesting read and very different then the series generally is. It was very introspective and reflective on grief and life. The change from a crazy weekend type length to a whole year was explored and taken advantage of fully I felt.
We do have a Novella coming this spring though!
And for those who remember, that does indeed that a lawyer named Mal Reynolds works for Games Workshop and doing DMCA claims.
Which is just hilarious to me, given Firefly and everything.
A conclusion to the Void War saga, as the game has returned to Steam today following Games Workshop's DMCA on it.
Wrote about how indiegame Void War was DMCA'd allegedly by Games Workshop.
