Insane? Every team needs a wildcard. See Agyemang at Women's World Cup...

Can't play the rest of the season just in the 2nd half. Play your best team from the start. Pre Christmas, we scored first often. Post, not so much, hence why we've dropped off. If Holloway can't learn from repeated mistakes, then Bignot should take the reigns for the sake of our season!

Hi Rich, I know you've probably finished the pod but some interesting stats:

Swindon have a 69% win rate with Mabete starting, 10% more than any other player.

Tom Nichols loses the ball on average 12.5 times a game (most in the squad), with Drinan second at 10 times.

Just to add, I agree Palmer was probably MOTM but he changes the team dynamic negatively. Long balls. We play some good stuff when he's not starting

I don't understand what 'Raw' means in the context of League 2 when teams are comprised of lots of young loans/young players? Olakidbe and Holman contributions have been greater than most turn of the year. Who would have not played? I'd drop Palmer, Drinan through middle and Hoilett off the bench!

Issue each week is not playing our in-form players (Holman, Olakidbe) . Not sure if Mabete is injured but he's a must have starter, we rarely lose when he plays. Holloway is an amazing man manager but awful tactician and team selection is poor each week. MOTM for me was Borland

Ollie Palmer belongs in the scrapshop on the A39 on the way to Minehead

Positives:
Kirkman was solid at both LB and CB. Olakigbe's positivity was a breath of fresh air in quite a static team!
Negatives:
Palmers theatrics and the ineptitude of our coaching staff to not pull a player having a stinker for 75 minutes, unable to protect himself or the defence

MOTM Olakigbe

The post Christmas period after a break was always going to be crucial. I don't think we've been financially backed enough this window thus far compared to our rivals and think they will haunt us in the end.
