#mciars COME ON YOU GUNNERS!!!
Kai is the key!
Fully agree.
Our TDs and revenue seems to think that the aim of government is to raise as much tax as possible. So big pats on the backs all around.
Opinion: These protests weren't just about fuel. They exposed a deeper crisis in Ireland, a country that's not short on money but is short on results.

I found empathy in the real world and virtually none on here.
Also on bsky I've seen a big rush to label the protesters as fascists or puppets.
Clearly the right wing will always try to attach themselves to anything that hurts the gov, doesn't make everyone they try to align with one of them.
You think it's him, but we think it's you (plural).
And yet if anyone were to protest against this in any serious way they'd be racists and idiots wouldn't they?
Insanity in this case then is questioning the players desire. Talking about looking inward again. What are the tactics? What are the ways by which we are supposed to score goals apart from corners? If Arteta sticks to the current plan, we will finish 2nd. No matter how much players want to win.
The best chance #arsenal have to win the league is to change manager.... We prob won't though
Yeah you're right. What you should do is not travel on any buses that aren't electric. Also don't buy anything that has been brought to a shop in a diesel powered vehicle. Good luck.
When they're homeless people might have some sympathy.
What are you talking about with sustainability of trucks or buses? There is no plan to replace diesel for these. There are fields full of elec buses, owned by Dublin bus who can't get tier 1 grid access. What chance would a small Joe soap have?
.. and a lot of people on here would let them. In the real world people seem to be more understanding .The protesters won't be welcomed with open arms in dole offices around the country.
They should probably all just get jobs in Apple or Amazon
I don't know what spox are. I would imagine that if they were outside the dail with placards we wouldn't be talking out them. Up close they look like small business owners. 1 or 2 trucks or buses. They'll go to the wall with the cost of doing business in this country....
And why would people commit economic sabotage?
What are you suggesting it is?
Self appointed protesters?
So nobody should stand up for anything if they haven't been elected to the dail. Right.
No wonder we live in a high tax, low services country.
I've spent hours this week sitting on the M50 and I blame the government for that. The only way they could get a sense of whether negotiated outcomes would stand up would be to engage with protesters. Their strategy seems to be make the protesters look bad. This approach is going nowhere (like me).
Since the war on Iran began on Feb 28, Israel has launched near-daily attacks on Lebanon, Gaza, and the occupied West Bank.
In that time, Israel killed at least 107 people, permitted only 8% of medical evacuations, and admitted just 20% of aid trucks into Gaza.

I was reminded of this song watching old top of the pops. No less relevant today #peace

A flake in a robe
Timmy Dooley is all over the place. He says cutting fuel costs will cost the taxpayer a billion euros... But wouldn't we get that billion euros?
Quite a moment: Melania becomes the first member of the administration trying to distract the public’s attention back to Epstein in order to get them to stop talking about Iran.
In all seriousness I have no idea, however, having comfortably beaten PSG in the group stage last year only to be eliminated by them later, I think the most sickening thing would to be to lose to Bayern this season.
Uhm, Bayern
Arsenal to lose on pens 😬
I don't like sitting in traffic but at the same time I think our reluctance to protest has led to our high tax, low services nation.
