The worst part is /knowing/ my work made a huge impact on the fandom, more than I could have imagined when I first started writing it. People keep telling me this but then offer literally NOTHING in the way of proof or evidence of this, and the silence from the people whose opinions I truly cared+

I've always felt like fodder at my various workplaces, but the fact that one of my long-time hobbies now makes me feel that same way, even in the few spaces I do currently occupy... God. How am I suppose to handle that without feeling like I just wasted three years of my life writing this thing?
