I’ve been playing on Hard so when I got to Renoir I had to go and level up some more before I could beat him. I just wasn’t doing enough damage. And it seems like I’ll have to do the same for the Paintress. That and the time it takes to learn all the timing windows

I got to her a few weeks ago and and after a couple tries, I haven’t picked the game back up again yet. I know I’m gonna need a few hours to do it and am not mentally ready yet…

Me: *hasn’t beat the final boss for weeks because I don’t want to take the time to learn the parry timings

Hopefully it starts to click for you. Landing parries, especially on multi hit moves becomes soooo satisfying! It does take dying to the same enemies a lot to learn the timings though.

Sometimes when I fight a boss my whole goal is just to learn the timings and then try “for real” once I have.

IMO, the main difference between him and any other third party is that he has the money and influence (twitter algorithm) to actually win seats though. So I think we’re cooked if he truly goes through with it.

In the end I think/hope he’s just threatening the other parties to play nicely with him
