Have fun! Always wanted to see Australia myself - seems like a very interesting part of the world.

Accepting constraints made my life better. Need to spend time on chores? Learn to enjoy the chores. Am I ill? My body is telling me what it needs. Work with it, not against it. Acceptance helped relieve stress and anxiousness this way, and gave me focus when needed.

Hm, might be. Or it might be the easing method? It looks like it's popping in and then slowly animating the last part. Or perhaps they're hidden at first, then visible when the animation is part way through?

Looks great! The menu options appear a bit abruptly - perhaps a slower fadein would feel better? That firefly cursor is amazing.

Today I learned that V-Sync can cause input lag. In my case there was a very noticeable delay after clicking on a button. Disabling V-Sync removed the delay. Good lesson! The next game I make will be more graphics heavy, so I'll take that one with me. docs.godotengine.org/en/4.4/tutor...

My wife and I just had our first outing on our own since we got our second kid two years ago. Gamedev, projects, work and hobbies in all their glory - sometimes I "forget" what life is truly about. Friends, family, making the most of the time we have. It was a lovely night.
