If you’re looking for a great new book to read, I recommend Dan Akst’s War by Other Means, a history of conscientious objectors during World War 2 and how two of them in particular (Bayard Rustin & David Dellinger) massively influenced the post-war civil-rights and anti-war movements.
I feel like I’m dissipating across too many social media platforms.
