É bom que guarda o kino para quando for preciso, hahaha. Mas gostei bastante mesmo, já do 1.1 tinha curtido, então tá numa crescente

Wrapped up Endfield 1.2 and yup, that one was kino through and through.

Really raising the bar for future patches, but a big thumbs up for the staff who delivered a great piece of entertainment with this one.

Yo, some of this might just be the thrill of the moment, but the boss fight + cutscene at the end of Endfield 1.2 might just be one of, if not THE most impressive setpiece I've seen in these Chinese gacha games. Really amazing stuff on all levels. Impressive stuff.

Haven't touched HSR for over a year now or more, but credit where credit is due, this trailer is so much fun, based stuff. Strike Freedom Ginrou still the first thing that's made me remotely curious to check it out again in ages lol

My monthly reminder that Endfield is a very pretty game and cool looking game

Another nice moment of AKE gacha where I get the character early but then don't have enough currency for the weapon so I gotta roll more anyway

Let's see if I can score a dupe, altho I honestly would rather I didn't and just end up close to the 6* pity for the next character lol

Gostaria de fazer o mesmo porém estive até ontem de noite raspando o fundo do barril pra pegar a arma da Nangong, e a porra do jogo me fez dar 75 tiros antes de sair (já tendo perdido outro soft pity na arma da Grace antes)

Man, Eluria Tower segment of SO2 is never going to stop being peak.

This part of the game rocks so much, and with KA MI KA ZE playing in the back to boot, lol.

I guess the one thing I'll miss from the remake is actually having to switch discs here lmao, part of the whole.

And while we're at it, SO2 itself remains a pretty cool game.

Been playing SO2R and it's funny how little of the game I actually remembered.

Still, Gemdrops has done a tremendous job with reimagining this one to a newer audience. Looks great, sounds even better and all the new QoL stuff makes it easily the best version of the game ever released.

Still quite love ZZZ, but that one is a perfect example where there was a clear overcorrection with the outright removal of TV mode from the game. It was part of its core identify and the game never quite found a worthy substitute for it, so the world in general feels a bit less interesting.

Top stuff from Endfield 1.2 stream, I really hope these devs succeed cause I do think they're doing everything to address the actually fair complaints people have about the game while sticking to their guns where they're right and not surrendering to the pressure from "haters".

Infelizmente é a nova geração que precisa entender TUDO e sem nenhum tipo de ruído ou algo que seja deixado à interpretação, ou simplesmente não conseguem tirar valor das coisas

Muy triste

It's a real mystery. It just feels like they wanted to have their cake and eat it too and it backfired horrendously but then there was no real time to fix it, so let's just go with it, lol.

Yeah, it's a weird game. I wouldn't consider myself a BotW fan, although I definitely had fun with it too. For a while there I felt like TotK would easily clear it, but the more I played the more the stuff I didn't like started to nag at me. In the end I think I like them about the same, lol.

That said, I don't regret playing it, and I'm gonna remember a lot of scenes from it fondly, albeit with that small tint of sadness of knowing what it could've been if they had done this in a different way. Alas...

Anyhow, tl;dr, feel like game had some really cool highs, that could've been even better if they did not feel the need to make this BotW2. BotW open world mechanics continue to feel, at best, half-baked, and at worst, downright abysmal and negatively impacting the overall design of the game.

2 weeks ago 0 0 1 0

There's very little point to exploration when the rewards are useless, weapons/shields breaking are still annoying but never really push you to really worry about resources, so it comes off as a totally half baked system, all stamina/hearts upgrades being locked behind shrines, y'know the deal.

The dungeons (and the sky) are also big improvements over the Divine Beasts, even though they're not quite at the level of 'traditional' Zelda mazes. And all in all, whatever BotW open world did well, this one did a little better. Of course, what BotW did wrong continues to be a problem...

...it also doesn't ever pack quite the same sense of discovery that the latter had. But the world feels more alive, stuff like Hateno Village and the character arcs there do a ton of heavy lifting into making you actually care about the people living in Hyrule, something I felt BotW sorely lacked.

Maybe they felt they had to go with that in order to reuse the map, I dunno, but it's a shame. Being 'BotW2' is one of the things that holds TotK down the most.

Letting the story and overall design decisions aside, though, I think the game is generally an improvement over BotW, even though...

Aside from all of the above, it's even more puzzling to think of the whole 'BotW sequel' angle once you realize that the game itself is making very little use of that hook. Characters disappear, many act like they don't know you, mentions to previous events are ever so brief and vague...

..telling the same story, progressing more like an OoT/TP than BotW, and it'd have been a far more cohesive game in my mind. I don't know what happened, if it was troubled development or just the pressure to follow up BotW, but I just don't see what 'BotW' added to this game that made it better.

2 weeks ago 0 0 1 0

That's not true for TotK, though. You end up in this bizarre situation where Link and other characters pretend they don't know <things> even though they do know, and every other scene ends up feeling wrong. In a perfect world, TotK could've been a smaller scale world, more linear, and...

2 weeks ago 0 0 1 0

But all of this ties, in the end, directly to the open world formula the game decided to take from BotW. I find that in BotW it 'worked' mainly because the memories and the present day stuff weren't really connected. They gave you some lore and made you care for Zelda, but that was the extent of it.

...some dungeons already and just goes and repeats the same cutscenes about the 'War' FOUR times is absolutely bonkers. There isn't a single line added to make it feel more natural to the player, it just comes off as super lazy.
