RIP to anime director Tatsuya Nagamine. One of the finest adventure anime directors of the modern era. He helped breath new life into long-running series and made them feel altogether vital again. The current One Piece boom wouldn't have been possible in the same way without him.

Been a while since I posted a progress update on Marathon Recompiled, so here's where we're at!

We have working builds for Linux and macOS, and I'm working on sorting out the remaining blockers for Windows.

Bugs in game, and singleplayer 3D not rendering properly yet but stay tuned...

One thing about having old hardware is that you can dispel myths that have come about re: performance/visuals. There is this meme circling about about older games running incredibly well on launch hw while looking great. Fact is, that was rarer. Games like HL2 ran like dog at launch on top end kit.

I remember being shocked by the size difference of my MSI Gaming 1070 Ti upgrading to the 3070 Ti FTW3, & that alone was just a triple slot. If I ever somehow decide to upgrade to a 4090, it'll probably end up being the Founders 'cause it's "only" triple slot.
